COVID-19 and the novel coronavirus
Given the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus, U3A members are reminded to take heed of the advice by health experts and government to reduce social contact (‘social distancing’). This is both for your safety and the safety of others. Up-to-date advice can be found from the UK government and Scottish government, also the National U3A website for general information. Your Group Leaders will be contacting you about group meetings.
Stay safe and look after others.
U3As are self-led lifelong learning cooperatives for older people, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
East Lothian U3A is a member of the Third Age Trust and is also a Registered Charity. Founded in 1999, it is one of 41 separate U3As in Scotland.
