‘The U3A in Scotland is committed to running two events each year. These are called All Scotland Assemblies and all Scotland-based U3As can send a reasonable number of their members, subject to the capacity of the location. These events typically have a main speaker and then break-out workshops covering areas of relevance to all U3As. The areas for this meeting will be IT Systems, Website development and MOOCs.

A free light buffet lunch provides an opportunity for members to meet and chat informally with others. Many find this aspect very helpful in learning and exchanging new ideas etc.’
