Summer Picnic at Dirleton

The Committee invite members to a special day out at Dirleton Castle on Wednesday 24 August.

Starting at 11 a.m. and with breaks for coffee and a picnic lunch, Andrew Spratt, the monument manager, will host a tour of the castle and a talk on medieval weapons. All costs for entry, the tour and talk have been waived for U3A members. Members are invited to bring refreshment and a picnic lunch.

This special event is organised by Tony Reeves. To book your free place, please email your request before Wednesday 10th August to Tony Reeves so that we can inform the management of the number of guests.  This will be on a first come basis as it would not be possible to accommodate all of our members turning up.

Volunteers are needed to help with arrangements on the day. If you are able to help please email Tony as soon as possible.
